YFM Chevy Spark

The venue, RandLords in Braamfontein, was marvellous with its rooftop 360 degrees view of Johannesburg. With all its charms, space, and exclusive feel, this venue was not fully utilised. There was a turnout of over 250 people, and there were approximately four bar men attending to the needs of all these people. You can just imagine how chaotic that situation was.

Enough negativity now, let’s rather focus on all the things you missed out on. The presence of South African entertainers really made this a star studded party. The music and performances heated up the venue, and people danced like it was their first time partying.

I still think it has to be illegal to “make people dance so much and not supply them with drinks to hydrate themselves.” I say this because the bar was closed when the artists were performing on stage. It was eventually reopened after the performances, but a lot of people were rather unhappy. We eventually left because it was hot, and we felt like we were about to pass out because we couldn’t get our hands on anything to drink. The bar was just too overcrowded.

The Chevy Spark party was not as ‘Dleng’ as we thought it would be, but some people enjoyed themselves. We rate the YFM Hip Hop Chevy Spark party 3/5 on the ‘Dleng Scale’ but we will definitely be visiting the RandLords again for its stunning views and opulent decor. If you have never been there before, do yourself a favour and make plans to visit it. DLENG!!!

Excuse me, but what year are we on again?

I have never been as shocked as I was when I saw this girl. I honestly thought that Lebo Mathosa had returned from the dead. God bless her soul.
