Upon arrival, we took pictures at the door, and gorgeous girls greeted us with multiple shots of Jagermeister and oysters. We immediately started feeling slightly underdressed. However, that feeling did not last very long because the shots we had at the door made us feel like we could conquer any situation that was to be sprung upon us.
People were so friendly and shockingly more comfortable in their environments than we have ever seen before. One could wonder if it was because the party was an 'invite only party', or if it was because no one was worried about raping their bank balances with purchasing alchi’booze. Maybe we just felt more at ease because entertainment industry people have adopted us as their little party kids. Who knows?
As usual, we hopped on to the dance floor as LuloCafé played awesome tracks and one of our favourites “I wanna love”. People seemed to be a bit reluctant to hop on to the dance floor, but they eventually let loose and filled it up.
As expected at YFM parties, the bar was closed during the stage performances, and people became sour for that period of time. We often feel like a bunch of primary school student being controlled by the headmaster when they force us to watch all the performances, even the ones we don’t particularly enjoy.
The night progressed, and the bar was reopened. This party suddenly turned into chatterville. We found ourselves chatting to the likes of AKA, Kuli Chana, and other artists. They entertained us with their unconventional humour and confirmed the fact that this was one hell of a gig.
